The Transformative Cities Urban Planning Summit will take place on Thursday, 9 October 2025, from 9:00 to 16:00 at Finlandia Hall, Helsinki.
The event will gather around 60 urban planning and sustainability experts from Finland and abroad.
Throughout the day, representatives from cities and public administration, experts, corporate partners and researchers will share experiences and co-develop solutions for advancing sustainable urban development. Key themes include mobility, green spaces, sustainable lifestyles, carbon mitigation, and climate adaptation.
The summit emphasizes cross-sectoral collaboration and participatory planning methods. The programme features expert presentations, workshop discussions, and opportunities for active interaction.
The summit will be facilitated by Peter Woodward (UK), a highly experienced international moderator of large-scale events.
